Spring 2020 Theater Classes

Online Class Schedule

Monday’s

7:00pm – 8:00pm Online Music Club Class II

April 19th – June 21st | All classes meet online using “Zoom”

Ages 8 to Adult  | 10 Student Max  | Tuition $150 + $25 Curriculum

Supplies needed: piano/keyboard, ruler, small white board, write on wipe off markers & eraser

Assignments, Worksheets, via “Tonara” App

For intermediate piano/theory students. Students interested in this level of study should anticipate being asked to consistently demonstrate good to excellent technique and thoughtful preparation for lessons. Placement will require an initial screening and possible live audition. Clapping  rhythms, advanced chords using Slide-Guide Templates, theory games, and ear training. Friendly competition through games. Students feel free to ask questions and participate.

Wednesday’s

2:30pm – 3:30pm Online Music Club Class I

April 15th – June 17th | All classes meet online using “Zoom”

Ages 8 to Adult  | 10 Student Max  | Tuition $150 + $25 Curriculum

For beginners. Introduction to keyboard geography, beginning note reading skills, clapping rhythms, consistent counting, finger dexterity, pre-staff reading, basic chords using Slide-Guide Templates, basic music theory, games, ear training. Friendly competition through games. Students feel free to answer questions and share observations. They will learn to participate better focusing on the fun and joy of making music.

3:45pm – 4:45pm Online Music Club Class I

6:00pm – 7:00pm Scene Work, Monologue Acting & Improv Class

April 15th – May 20th | All classes meet online using “Zoom” | Located at 5916 Winkler Rd, Fort Myers (If we can meet as a group)

Ages 12-18 |  10 Student Max  | $75 per session

Students will get to expand their skills in acting techniques, public speaking and performing.  Students will get mini – scripts (in pairs of twos or threes and small groups), short monologues and work on audition skill development.   Students will build confidence with creating characters and learn to think more creatively.

Thursday’s

5:00 pm – 6:00pm Intermediate Musical Theater

April 16th – May 21st | All classes meet online using “Zoom” | Located at 5916 Winkler Rd, Fort Myers (If we can meet as a group)

Ages 12-18 |  20 Student Max  | $75 per session

In this class students will get the chance to learn scenes and songs from many Broadway classics. Students will enjoy workshops on how to audition, preparing for an audition, how to build a character, musical theater dance, voice and more! The final class will end with a Broadway Revue performance for family and friends.
